No signal, no problem. With VoWiFi (Wi-Fi Calling) from participating carriers, you can make calls and send messages over a Wi-Fi connection when cell service is unavailable. This feature ensures you stay connected even with a weak signal.

What is VoWiFi (Wi-Fi Calling)?
VoWiFi (Wi-Fi Calling) is similar to regular calling on your cellphone, but your carrier routes the call over an available WiFi network instead of its cellular network. Your phone will automatically select the best network — cellular or WiFi —without any action required on your part.

How much does VoWiFi (Wi-Fi Calling) cost?
VoWiFi (Wi-Fi Calling) does not incur any extra charges. Carriers treat your WiFi calls the same as regular cellular calls, applying the same rates and fees. If you don't have an unlimited plan, call minutes will be deducted from your monthly allotment for WiFi calls.

How to make a WiFi call?
VoWiFi (Wi-Fi Calling) needs to be manually enabled on smartphones using the designated app.

• Tap "Wi-Fi Calling", and switch it on. If prompted to enter Emergency contact information, fill in the details and save. Your Wi-Fi calls will now be activated. To turn off Wi-Fi Calling, simply toggle the switch.
• On some carriers, you may need to select Roaming network preference or When Roaming. When Wi-Fi Calling is active, you can choose between Cellular preferred and Wi-Fi preferred settings.

Note: For some phones, VoLTE must be enabled to activate Wi-Fi Calling.

• Tap "Phone Info" to access the setup page. Toggle "VoLTE Provisioned" and "Wi-Fi Calling Provisioned" to ON at the bottom of the page to activate Wi-Fi Calling. If these options are inaccessible or non-functional, it indicates that either the phone or carrier does not support Wi-Fi Calling.
